WOMEN'S ALI AT A GLANCE
Women are notably underrepresented in leadership roles throughout the arts industry and elsewhere. Here at Women's Artistic Leadership Initiative, we aim to transform the dialogue around gender into action, with a primary focus on the next generation. Find out how we plan to educate and empower young female artists to become future leaders!
The Summer Leadership Intensive is our highlighting event that brings opportunity, creativity, and essential knowledge to the next generation of female artists.
Collegiate-aged women, roughly 18-25, are invited to apply for an ALI Fellowship through which they attend this 2 day Intensive program focused on business acumen and leadership skills for artists. They are then paired with a professional mentor through our Mentor Alliance program to connect them to communities of experienced individuals.
Our mission is to educate, empower, and engage these young artists to make lasting change! Join us this year at the 2022 Summer Leadership Intensive!

After pursuing their individual interests within the arts, 5 sisters from Salt Lake City, Utah, teamed up to realize the dream of Women’s ALI founder, Stephanie Rhodes Russell. Together, they set out to change the dynamic of female leadership within the arts and prepare young female artists to become leaders, by training them in essential leadership & business skills.
Women in the arts should be prepared leaders in their communities and at Women's ALI, we leverage our cumulative experience to make that possible. We welcome all with similar beliefs to join in our mission.
